Hi tempers! Today I present you my first release: NotifyMii, a simple notification manager.
Latest version: v1.2 (24/05/2016)

Features:
  • Create your own custom notifications.
    • Message: You can use a text file from the SD card as the message, or copy from another notification.
      • Cannot exceed 6016 bytes (~5.8kb).
    • Image (optional): You can select a JPG image from the SD card, or use an image from another notification.
      • Should be exactly 400x240 and cannot exceed 50kb.
    • Process ID (optional): You can select from which app the notification was received (no app = system notification).
  • Read and delete notifications.
    • Notifications are automatically marked as read by NotifyMii upon reading.
    • You can also view a notification's image.
  • Dump a notification's message and image to the SD card.
    • Messages are saved as HHMMSS_TITLE.txt.
    • Images are saved as HHMMSS_TITLE.jpg.
    • Both are saved to SD:/NotifyMii.
  • Dump or delete all notifications at once.
  • Launch the app from which the notification was received. (suggestion of @Ev1l0rd ).

TODO:
  • Write a GUI.
  • Fix flickering when selecting files/notifications.
  • Notification editing.

Btw, this is not my first homebrew, it's just my first release. I never finished anything before :P
I hope it will be useful for the community.

Hey, this is cool!
How big should be the dimensions of the banner and the icon? Maybe I can try to make a nice icon :)

EDIT : I did something, a "banner" and a icon :
notify-mii big.png

notify-mii small.png

I also have the .psd files if you want them.

Nice dude :)

It is a bit buggy. The clear-function didn't work correctly for me. I still have a notification of badge arcade left. But it is still really cool.

These are very cool, I'll be using them xD
The banner must be 256x128 and the icon must be 48x48.

I've just made a major update on NotifyMii, and added ALL of your suggestions!

What's new:
  • You can now select a txt file from SD card when creating a notification (file size cannot exceed 5kb), or use other notification's message.
  • You can now select a jpg file from SD card to use as the image when creating a notification (file size cannot exceed 128kb), or use other notification's image.
  • You can now select an installed title to use as the notification omitter, or use other notification's omitter.
  • Press SELECT at "View Notifications" menu to dump all notifications to "SD:/NotifyMii" at once.
  • Press START at "View Notifications" menu to launch the selected notification's omitter.
  • Basic info about a selected notification is now displayed on the top screen.
  • Fixed "Delete all notifications" leaving behind a notification.
  • Fixed newly added notifications not being displayed.
  • Fixed "Don't use any image" not deleting old notification's leftovers image.
  • Many other fixes and additions.

Grab it from my GitHub.

I think there's nothing left to be done here, beside a GUI.

Now if we could get notifications on the home menu like you can on Windows.

Edit: but seriously great job

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

If I wanted to add my own notification how would I go about doing that?

Just select "Add notification" from the main menu and you will be prompted to input title, message, image (optional) and an installed app to use as the notification omitter (also optional).

EDIT: Was thinking about making a touch-based keyboard, and an image preview function.

Thanks for that little helper!
It would be very nice if there will be a "touch-based-keyboard" in future releases!

Thanks for the massive update! Did you fix the bug where pressing back would do nothing when selecting another notification's image for a custom notification?
